Our Services
Your pet’s health and well-being is our number on concern. Our experienced doctors can provide all levels of service such as wellness and preventive medicine, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, senior care and emergency.
Preventive Medicine
Our goal is to help your pet stay happy and healthy well into its senior years. We believe early screening for disease will help keep your pet on the road to good health. Annual physical examinations, laboratory screening for disease, and vaccinations that are based on expose to disease are highly advised.
Surgery
We perform many routine and specialized surgeries, including spay/neuters, orthopedic, exploratory and cesareans.
Should your pet need surgery, rest assured he/she will receive the best of care. Your pet will be monitored closely during its surgery with modern equipment including ECG (electrocardiograph) and pulse oximeter.

Dentistry
Good dental health is essential to your pet’s well being. Tarter buildup, tooth decay and gingivitis are conditions which may be associated and/or lead to kidney, liver and heart failure. We have the equipment and technology to perform routine cleanings, extractions, digital radiographs, root canals and other periodontal work that can help prolong the life of your pet. We will be happy to talk to you about preventative measures you can do at home and the dental care products that help.
Radiology - Ultrasound - Endoscopy
Our x-ray machine and film processing equipment enables us to obtain high quality diagnostic information about your pet’s condition in a matter of minutes.
Another diagnostic tool we can utilize, the ultrasound allows us to quickly and painlessly detect possible masses and soft tissue problems, pregnancy and bladder stones.
An endoscope is a tiny camera that can be inserted orally, nasally or rectally to give the doctor a clearer picture of what may be going on inside your pet. We are able to view problem areas, take biopsy samples, extract some foreign objects without surgery, and treat some ear canal disease.

Microchip Identification
Administering a microchip takes just a couple of seconds and can save your pet’s life if he/she becomes lost. The microchip itself is the size of a grain of rice and injected in the scruff of the neck. The owner then fills out information, which is entered into a database. Information can be retrieved by animal control or another veterinary hospital, which can be vital in order to reunite you and your pet.
Grooming
We offer a full service grooming facility. Michael has been our groomer for over 10 years. He is able to groom all sizes of dogs and cats. For grooming questions, please call and ask for Michael.

Exotic Care and Avian
Dr. Wilson and Dr. DiRuzzo have a strong passion for birds, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and reptiles. Caring for these pets often requires more time and specialized training beyond that needed for dogs and cats.
Veterinary Acupuncture and Chiropractic
Acupuncture is an ancient practice of stimulating specific points on the body to achieve a desired effect. Chiropractic is the application of a directed force on a specific area of the skeleton to re-establish normal motion. Also known as alternative medicine, Dr. Palmatier has studied both of these extensively.
Treatment using either of these procedures requires a consultation and physical exam. An optimum treatment plan will be decided by the owner and the veterinarian. |
