Ginger has been working as a Veterinary Technician since 1999. She joined The Pet Stop team in July 2002.
She has a special interest in working with rabbits and birds. Ginger is a lifelong Alaskan. She enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, children and their pets.
Terry has been in Alaska since 1989 and with The Pet Stop part time since 2000 helping out as needed as a Technician Assistant as well as Receptionist. Her love of animals and the people that care for them is what keeps her here. When not at work she enjoys her dog Millie, being outdoors, camping, riding bikes and hiking.
CC is a licensed vet tech originally from Colorado. CC moved to Alaska in 2006. She has a BA from Colorado State University and has worked with animals her whole life. She has been a technician in Washington state, Colorado and now Alaska. She has 3 daughters, 2 dogs and a cat. She lives with her family in Chugiak.
Stephanie has been with The Pet Stop since October 2019. However, she has been working as a veterinary nurse since 2015 and obtained her license in December 2019. She grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and has also worked at practices in Florida and California. Stephanie is a mother to two daughters, her cat Dahlila and her dog Zelda. In her down time, Stephanie enjoys being outdoors, crocheting, gardening, and reading.
A lifelong Alaskan, Elizabeth has been here at The Pet Stop since the summer of 2016. She graduated from Wilson college in Pennsylvania, in the spring of 2016, with a degree in Veterinary Technology and Biology. When not at the clinic, she can be found outdoors with her corgi, Lewis, or doing various art projects with her cat Stardust “assisting”.
Jenessa earned her Veterinary Science Technology degree in 2017 and joined The Pet Stop in 2018. Jenessa has two Border Collies whom she spends many hours throwing frisbies for on the weekends. When not playing with her pups, she loves reading, riding her horse and mountain biking.
Emily joined The Pet Stop team in 2015. She moved to Alaska from Wisconsin in 2011 after spending her summers growing up at a fishing lodge on Lake Clark. She enjoys hiking, fishing, and participating in multiple dog sports with her border collie mixes Outlaw and Pivot, and her cattle dog Waylon.
Cristal was born and raised in Alaska. She has two cats and has been with a tech assistant with The Pet Stop for over 20 years.
Lizzy joined The Pet Stop in July 2018 after completing the Veterinary Assisting Program at Matanuska-Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska, earning an Occupational Endorsement Certificate in Veterinary Assisting. Lizzy is currently going to college online to earn an Associate's Degree for Veterinary Technician. When not working on her Veterinary Assistant duties, she is always eager to learn and practice new skills to become a Technician. Lizzy was born and raised in Alaska. Even as a kid, she had a strong love for animals and knew she wanted to have a career with them. When she isn't busy studying, she spends her time enjoying the outdoors. She has one spunky and playful tuxedo cat named Link.
Shelia moved to Alaska in August 2021 and have joined The Pet Stop this year, 2022. She likes to hike in her free time and cannot wait to explore Alaska.
